THE CUTTING TOOL STARTS UP WHEN YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THE SCREEN AND THE PRESSURE GAUGE VARIES ACCORDING TO HOW MUCH PRESSURE (I PUT MY FINGER OVER THE HOLE/PORT ON THE UNIT TO VARY THE PRESSURE). I AM A SIMPLE MAN AND AM NOT AN OPTHALMOLOGIST OR OTHERWISE SO I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS UNIT OR HOW TO PROPERLY USE THE UNIT, CUT WITH IT, TEST IT, OR SHAVE MY APPLES WITH IT.
