Payment Information (PAYPAL!): International Orders: About 75% of international orders must be paid via wire transfer with a $25 charge. From time to time, we will accept a Paypal payment from an international order. We have been scammed too many times from international customers who deal with fraud. Sorry. PAYPAL: Paypal has changed many of its policies lately. We can ship from unconfirmed address from time to time. I would prefer an "e-Check" whenever possible, and will give a 1% discount on those purchases. Payment Date: Payment must be made within 7 days of the auction close. Arrangements can be made if this cannot be made. Failure to do so my result in a forfeiture of the item. Payment Options: Paypal, Personal Checks, Company checks, Money orders, Cash, and Wire Transfers. Credit Cards: Buyers must process Credit Card payments through PayPal. Warranty Information: Counterpane offers warranties from unit to unit. However, if it is not stated in the auction, all items are sas-is. If we find a product mishandled of obvious misuse/mistreatment, you will not receive a refund. RETURNS: a warranty and buyer's remorse are different situation. If you wish to return an item within the warranty period, then there will be a 15% restocking fee. It must be in the ORIGINAL, working condition. Refunds are given, minus the original S/H costs. Also, being in the NW, UPS charges a bit of a higher rate than someone closer to you. So, if you live in NY, or FL, expect higher shipping costs. Shipping costs include boxes, peanuts, instafoam, bubble wrap, and anything else to keep your equipment safe. This usually costs between $5-$10 per shipment, but we tend to only add a few dollars. Counterpane is not responsible for damages incurred during shipment if insurance is not requested. IF DAMAGE DOES OCCUR, YOU MUST KEEP ALL OF THE ORIGINAL PACKING MATERIALS AND CONTACT US WITHIN 72 HOURS SO WE CAN SET UP AN INSURANCE CLAIM. IF THE BOX LOOKS DAMAGED, DO NOT SIGN FOR IT! All freight items are strapped to the pallet and properly packaged. This ensures the unit can be easily moved on and off the trucks and arrive as safe as possible.
